Year 12 Study Day applications are open!

Study Days at St John’s offer high-achieving Year 12 students at non-selective state schools an opportunity to experience higher level study in their chosen subject. Applications are open for our upcoming Study Days:

  • Maths Study Day: 5 March 2020 (application deadline: 13 February)
  • History Study Day: 10 March 2020 (application deadline: 21 February)
  • Medicine and Biomedical Sciences: 6 June 2020 (application deadline: 15 May)

We are also running our Classics and Ancient History Essay Competition with the Oxford Classics Faculty for the 10th time this year! The competition is open to all UK students currently studying in Year 12 or equivalent, whether or not they are currently studying a Classical or Ancient subject. The competition gives students of any subjects an opportunity to write an essay on the classical world. Essays must be submitted by Thursday 5th March 2020 and all entrants will also be invited to attend a Study Afternoon at St John’s on Thursday 23rd April 2020.

For more details on these events, and to download the application forms, see the Study Days page on the College’s website.
