How does the environment influence our heritage?

In this video, Dr Jenny Richards explores, ‘Order In Our World’, in relation to the environment and heritage. Dr Richards discusses how the reciprocal interrelation between the environment and heritage is often complicated, and explains that policies which work to preserve and safeguard our heritage always need to be considered in light of environmental factors.

Dr Jenny Richards is a Supernumerary Teaching Fellow in Physical Geography at St John’s. Dr Richard’s research focusses on how the environmental processes shape the landscape around us, and she is particularly interested in heritage sites in dryland regions.
